Presentation: Blockchain and its Application in Resilient Communications
Date/Time: Friday, May 25, 2018, 1800-2100
Location: The New Sanno Hotel, Minami-Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo
Speaker: Karsten Klein, CEO, KLEIN K.K. Advisory Services

Summary: We are confronted with cyberattacks on a daily base. Most of the reported cases are covering data theft, data loss and the interruption of organisations, governments and infrastructure functions. The focus of the cyberattacks has shifted to a more dangerous tactic, data manipulation. The aim of these attacks is to compromise the integrity of data. The seminar will use critical communication as an example and discuss the use of blockchain technology to generate, protect and share data in a secure setup.

The New Sanno is a U.S. military complex, and requires an official government issued identification card with picture (ie. DoD CAC, DoD Dependent ID, DoD Retired ID, Passport, Resident Registration Card, etc. ) for entry. See below for more information.
