Professor Motohiro Tsuchiya serves as a professor of the Graduate School of Media and Governance and deputy director of Global Security Research Institute (G-SEC) at Keio University. A tireless thought-leader, Professor Tsuchiya regularly shares his vision on Japan-U.S. Cooperation. A vision which demands collaboration in cyberspace to ensure peace and security across the Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining the Keio faculty, he was an associate professor at Center for Global Communications (GLOCOM), International University of Japan.
Professor Tsuchiya is interested in the impact of the information revolution on international relations; regulatory policy regarding telecommunications and the Internet; and issues related to global governance and information technologies.
He earned his BA in Political Science, MA in International Relations, and Ph.D in Media and Governance from Keio University.
