Rich Chuckrey is a 25-year technologist and effective influencer with experience in developing wide-range corporate IT strategy. He’s well versed in conducting efficient IT operations & maintenance with various agencies and corporations tied to Department of Defense (DoD). Rich holds a BS in Business Administration and an AS in Electronic Systems Technology and has supported technology roles ranging from enterprise systems analyst to enterprise helpdesk manager, consultant, and most recently – regional Asia-Pacific IT operations manager at a multinational organization with offices spanning across the globe.

Rich played a key role as team lead in the engineering, rollout, and administration of the secure enterprise networks and systems under control of the US Navy’s Regional Information Technology Services Center (RITSC) on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This initiative was the first developmental step in what is now known as Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI).

In his current role with Stars and Stripes, Rich is fully responsible for infusing an enriched mix of leadership and management over regional IT assets and manpower; ensuring the efficient delivery of cost-effective technical services for the organization’s multimedia business units in Asia-Pacific. His efforts are steadfast and committed to sustained process improvement of organizational workflows – where mitigating IT risk has direct and measurable influence on business revenues and performance.
